1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CTRL (the "App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CTRL is a recovery and habit tracking application designed to help users monitor their journey toward healthier habits. The App provides tools for logging activities, tracking progress, and receiving personalized insights through AI-powered coaching.

The App includes both free and premium features. Premium features require a subscription or one-time purchase as described in Section 3.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
• Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not sharing your account with others
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

6. Data Collection, Use & Privacy

We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and used to:

• Provide personalized insights and tracking
• Generate AI-powered coaching recommendations
• Sync your data across devices
• Improve the App's features and accuracy
• Ensure the security and integrity of the service

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu in the App. When you delete your account:

• Your authentication credentials are permanently deleted
• All personal data associated with your account is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
• Active subscriptions will remain active until the end of the current billing period (no refunds for partial periods)
• This action cannot be undone and your data cannot be recovered

Important: Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through iOS Settings → Subscriptions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design, code, and branding of the App are owned by CTRL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without our express written permission. Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code is strictly prohibited.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Scrape, crawl, or data mine the App
• Share your account credentials with others

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CTRL is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CTRL, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You will not be entitled to a refund of any unused subscription time.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by:

• Posting the new Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Sending you an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App and may cancel your subscription.
